Why should I join Sandbank Community Development Trust? By joining The Trust you are showing your support for your village and your community. The Trust exists to promote and enhance the Sandbank community and the resources available to it.

Sandbank – Who better to look after our village than the Sandbank Community. The Trust look after the interests of our village on your behalf. By joining, you help promote our cause and support our applications for grants.

Funding bodies prefer organisations like ours to be able to evidence we represent the broader community and we can say this by saying the majority of our community are members who are actively involved in our work.

By becoming a member you will have the opportunity to attend meetings, vote, and be considered for the board of directors. You don’t have to be a director to get involved with The Trust, you can become a member of a subcommittee if you have the time and commitment which gives you an opportunity to make a difference to your village.

Community Projects

Do you have an idea or suggestion for a community project? Do you have a project in mind that will promote our Village and enhance community facilities? The Trust are always on the lookout for suggestions from members. If you have a project to suggest, the trust may be able to take it forward. You can champion the project or assist -it’s entirely up to you. If you have an idea you would like to discuss get in touch by email or speak to one of our directors. You can contact us via the contact page.

On a final note, it would be helpful if you could promote the work of the Trust. We are ambassadors for Sandbank and should encourage friends and neighbours to join and become active members of our community. The more members we have, the bigger our voice and the better our chances of securing funding and improving our village. Do something positive for your village and community – join today!
